Enjoy the two most popular day tours from Melbourne in a small group of up to 12 passengers. On one day, you will travel to the iconic Great Ocean Road and the other day on a Phillip Island Day tour.
What to Expect
Over these two days you will experience the best natural destinations outside of Melbourne. Package these two day trips together to get extra value and make the most of your time in Melbourne. On both tours, there will be a maximum of 12 people in your group, so you will have plenty of opportunities to ask your guide questions and get to know your fellow travelers.
For your day along the Great Ocean Road, your guide will pick you up again from your hotel to experience this majestic coastal drive. You will travel in style with your small group and enjoy time to relax and fully appreciate the wonders of this world famous route.
You will have time to stroll along the wild beaches or stop for a coffee at the striking Split Point Lighthouse and take in the awe-inspiring scenery. You will stop at Apollo Bay, a tranquil seaside town set amongst the soft rolling hills, offering a great selection of cafes and restaurants where you can stop for lunch (not included).
This tour provides exclusive access to an ancient Eucalyptus Forest walk, located at the iconic Great Ocean Road Ecolodge where you can have close encounters with koalas, kangaroos and native birds.
A truly unique day out, capped off by a visit to the ancient rock formations of the Twelve Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge.
It's then off to Phillip Island to discover the unique nature experiences and dramatic landscapes. Your small group tour will help to further the protection and conservation of the local fauna and flora.
Your unforgettable day will commence with a visit to the tiny Churchill island, a historic working farm where you can discover first-hand the lives of the first settlers to this region. At the Koala Conservation Centre, you are guaranteed a close-up encounter with these furry little fellas in their natural habitat, and you are likely to meet some wallabies and echidnas along the way.
At the Nobbies, you will stroll along the boardwalk to experience the waves crashing along this dramatic coastline and perhaps spot a few seals and some penguin nests. If you travel with us in the summer, you will have some free time in the town of Cowes where you might like to walk along the beach or pier, do some shopping or try some local seafood (not included). A trip to Phillip Island is not complete without its black tie gala event: the Penguin Parade. You will head to the Visitor Centre to shop, have a coffee and meander along the boardwalk to the viewing platform where you will see the little penguins come ashore, decked out in their tuxedos as they hurry off to find their burrows.
