Sip on your choice of wine, beer, or a soft drink as you admire views of up to 40 kilometers including glimpses of the nearby Yarra Valley and Mornington. See the city and its surroundings from a totally new perspective on the Melbourne Star, located in Melbourne's Docklands waterfront precinct. Enjoy 360-degree views of some of Melbourne's most iconic sights like the Port of Melbourne, Spirit of Tasmania docks, Williamstown Naval Dockyards, the Westgate and Bolte Bridges, Albert Park lake, home to Melbourne's Grand Prix, Marvel Stadium and of course Flemington Racecourse where the "Race that Stops a Nation", the Melbourne Cup, is run on the first Tuesday of November every year.
