Full description
Discover the iconic 12 Apostles, see picturesque beaches, and make your way through the trees in Great Otways National Park and Redwood Forest. Snack on local fruit and spot native koalas. Departing Melbourne early with your knowledgeable guide, head straight to the famous 12 Apostles before the masses of people arrive. Take a short stroll along the boardwalk, and appreciate the stunning views. Continue to another spectacular scene, Gibson Steps, and walk down the 70-meter cliff-side pathway to the beach, where there will be plenty of time to take some incredible photos. Next, it’s back in the van to start a drive through the magical Great Otways National Park. Pull over, and take a 3.5 kilometer (just over 2 miles) return hike through ancient rainforests to the dreamy Beauchamp Falls. Then, head to the towering Californian Redwood Forest. With your energy restored, continue your tour along the iconic Great Ocean Road. Pass by Apollo Bay before reaching Kennett's River, where you'll get the chance to spot native koalas going about their daily routines. Stop at the beautiful town of Lorne for 30 minutes to shop and explore at your leisure, or take a swim in the ocean. Finally, visit the historical Memorial Lookout and the surfer hotspot, Bells Beach, before concluding your tour back at the original meeting point.

Great day out on the Ocean Road. We had stunning weather and Mick was an excellent guide. The small tour group of 6 people and the small tour bus was good and we saw much more than the 12 Apostles. Due to COVID there were no crowds and the side trips to the waterfall and redwood stands added to the trip plus the koala sighting at Kennet Beach. this is one of the few tours still running in Victoria ad deserve to succeed. the lunch and coffee stoops were at small independent stores and both were very good.

It was definitely one of the best experience we had. We had plenty of time to visit each of the locations and the guide was amazing who explained lots of the history behind each of the locations. The guide was very attentive to our needs and showed us all the scenic routes. Overall I must say the trip was extremely worthy as we covered a lot in one day.

Our guide Shan was kind, caring and noticing small things, spotting Koala and Kangaru from a distance. He did his best to create a day trip perfect for everyone, and I do appreciate your efforts. And it was more than enjoyable experience. Even the restaurant he took us for lunch, I expected somewhat mediocre level of cafe, but it was really proper restaurant with beautifully presented food (and I had meticulously cooked snapper and a glass of chadonay), and around 3-4PM, we stopped to spot Koala, there was a cafe with real Gelato - I had a cup of Blood Orange - the best for the hot weather. I highly recommend this trip to everyone. Shan even had this vegan Chocolate balls his wife made for us to taste. Such a sweet guy!!!!
