Discover the stunning island of Mauritius and get off the beaten track with this fantastic electric bike tour. Begin your excursion with a cup of coffee at Le Chamarel restaurant. Get energized for your tour as you sip coffee surrounded by spectacular scenery! Then it's time to set off on a full-day tour, which allows you to visit one of the most beautiful distilleries on the island and learn all about how rum is made. Have the chance to taste some samples and take part in a special pineapple tasting session. After the distillery, continue towards the village of Chamarel, riding through coffee plantations, passing the waterfall and visiting the Seven Colored Earths, where you can see tortoises and learn how they arrived on the island. Take on Fantasy Mountain downhill, before you stop to enjoy lunch at a typical restaurant in the small village of Baie du Cap. Weather permitting, dine under the shade of a magnificent tree and take the time to admire the sumptuous view of the lagoon. Bring your camera and capture some great shots whilst enjoying a delicious meal. Once you're refreshed, visit some historical sites along the coastal route and have fun riding down small sandy roads! Although we enjoyed our trip, we realised on checking the company website that we did not visit all that was listed. Also our lunch was disappointing and again not where it was listed. We were on the main with buses & cars going by! We had requested taxi pick up but the company obviously forgot - they had to call a local taxi & we were 25 mins late. Luckily we were the only two on the trip.
