What People Are Saying About Mauritius

A lovely excursion a wonderful little island and brilliant staff

We enjoyed every minute. It is a lovely excursion a wonderful little island and brilliant BRILLIANT staff. Thank you to the staff and organizers for making such a beautiful tranquil day possible. We are feeling extremely spoilt and the gentleman called Sunnil is especially attentive. Thank you!

Tour was well organized and our guide was knowledgable & accommodating

Would have liked to make a stop at the place where they harvest the sea salt since it was on the way.

A good flavour of Mauritius & insight to the islands culture.

A lot of time travelling in the mini bus to get to the points of interest,we were stopping at.More time is spent in vehicle than at the sights. This tour is not good for you if you get car travel sick!Roads VERY bendy in places, and bumpy. You see an awful lot of sugar cane as the island is covered by it!!!!The small print states that due to weather conditions the tour can change,or even stop due to the rain....which happened to us,as it began raining.IT RAINS A LOT IN MAURITIUS,SO BE PREPARED.We could not stop to view the highest peak as low cloud and rain like you've never seen before, but that was okay as it was only a mountain peak! Its not suitable for children.Be ready for 10 shots of strong rum at the factory......Bring plenty of water/drinks with you.Turned up at hotel on time, really efficient with correspondences before trip.Felt confident with the company it would be a good tour.Really pleased.Natalie was a BRILLIANT tour guide, knew everything.

The tour was well conducted and most informative.

This was the highlight of my holiday in Mauritius. The conservation efforts are worthy of support. The guides - both on the island and in the glass bottomed boat over the coral reefs - easily shared their knowledge of these environments. I advise visitors to take local currency to the island so they can buy mementoes/ t-shirts that contribute to the conservation programmes. The shop does not take credit cards.

A really interesting trip and an excellent guide.

Very informative. Saw most all of the different fauna highlighted on the information boards. Learned a lot about the effects of colonisation on the island flora and fauna. Interesting to learn about all the programmes and research and the affiliation with Chester Zoo in England. Gratifying to learn that the animals are supported but left to roam the island as they wish, that they are given as natural a life as is possible.
