The tour usually starts with hotel pickup at 7:30 AM. Followed by a 45-minute to 1-hour transfer to the Okavango Delta NG32 Concession. You will be allocated a guide/poler who will take you on an unforgettable journey through the channels of the Okavango. Born and raised in the Okavango Delta, our polers and guides show you their home which they are very passionate and knowledgeable about. We support the local community in the Okavango Delta. The experienced polers take you on a journey through the delta channels. Enjoy the peace of the delta in a Mokoro. At lunchtime, you stop for a picnic meal on one of the islands before your guide takes you on a nature walk where we hope to see more animals. Feel the peace and tranquility of the Okavango surrounded by hippos and serenaded by the abundant bird life, before heading back to Maun.

Move quietly through the shallow waters of the Okavango Delta in a traditional mokoro and give yourself the best chance of seeing aquatic wildlife. Visit the eastern delta in a community-controlled wilderness area and enjoy a truly soothing experience. After pickup from your hotel or lodge in Maun, make your way to Audi Camp and board a motorboat near here, depending on the water level. Head along the Boro Channel to Boro Mokoro Station to meet your boatman, known as a poler. Next, hop into your mokoro with your experienced poler, a master of the channels of the delta who is astute in co-existing with aquatic wildlife. Learn about the amazing ecosystem that is the Okavango Delta, and soak up the tranquility of the area. Break up your mokoro tour by setting up a picnic lunch on an island. Marvel at the breathtaking views and take a nature walk before exploring more channels in the delta. When your once in a lifetime experience draws to a close, head back to the Boro Mokoro Station where your engine-powered boat will pick you up for a trip to Audi camp to arrive before sunset. Alternatively, you may be picked up by car.

We offer you the chance to view wildlife from an open safari vehicle accompanied by a professional guide. This trip is very popular among guests with limited time. Departing from Maun in the early morning, we will pick you up form your hotel before heading to Moremi Game Reserve. Moremi Game Reserve is about 100km from Maun, and you can expect to spend 5 to 6 hours of the day on a safari game drive. We offer tea, coffee, packed breakfast and lunch, bottled water and soft drinks. The Moremi Game Reserve covers much of the eastern side of the Okavango Delta. In Moremi, one gets marvelous views of savannah game — lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, wild dogs, and a wide variety of birds. A surprising amount of game can be viewed on these trips. From mid May to end of September our trips start at 6:30am and return at 6:30pm, the rest of the year they start at 6:00am and return at 7:00pm. Warm clothes are necessary during the winter months and rain gear during the rainy season (late November to late March). After passing through the “Buffalo Fence” an hour out of Maun you will enter some of the top wildlife areas that Botswana has to offer. Your guide will stop a little before we reach the park gate in order to have tea, coffee and a light breakfast. At around 1:00pm your guide will pick a scenic spot for you to have a delicious packed lunch. We also supply a cooler box with ice for any extra drinks you may wish to take.

Both Black and White Rhino, while rare to spot, have recently been reintroduced, making this reserve a “Big Five” destination (meaning it contains lions, leopards, rhinoceros, elephants, and Cape buffalo). The park also contains more than 400 species of birds, many migratory and some endangered, and is excellent for birdwatching. With the help of your guide, search for and view as much game as you can. Stop at another scenic location for lunch and continue your game viewing while eating. After lunch, head back out on your game drive until it is time to return to Maun. Upon arrival in Maun, you will be dropped off at your preferred stop.

However it is the great diversity of plant and animal life that makes Moremi Game Reserve so well known and increasingly more popular every year. The Moremi Game Reserve covers much of the eastern side of the Okavango Delta. A surprising amount of game can be viewed on these trips. Before you have lunch at just around 1100am you will do 1 hour boat cruise at Moremi Xakanaxa. At around 1:00pm your guide will pick a scenic spot for you to have a delicious packed lunch. We also supply a cooler box with ice for any extra drinks you may wish to take. Moremi is one of the accessible areas with amazing wildlife, animals and bird species. The wildlife highlights differ from day to day and amongst them are leopards, lions, wild dogs, kudus, waterbucks, elephants, buffaloes, impalas. Birdlife is quite amazing in the area with birds such as secretary bird, hornbill, lapwing, vulture, African jacana, African fish eagle, hamerkop, and crested crane amongst many other species. After a game drive in the reserve, you will be transferred back to Maun and dropped off at your place of accommodation.

You will be picked up from a hotel or lodge by a Marvelous Mobile Safari guide who will do a trip briefing before departing to Makgadikgadi Game Reserve. You will drive along the A3 road which interconnects Maun and Khumaga. Upon arrival at the entrance gate, packed breakfast will be served. After breakfast clients will have a chance to do a game drive along Boteti River where they will see lots of Zebras, wildebeests, giraffes and large herds of elephants. During lunch, the guide will find a nice place around the park where the clients will have packed lunch. Makgadikgadi Pans National Park is one of the largest flat salt pans in the world. During the wet season (November to March), wildlife viewing is excellent, particularly when large herds of zebra and wildebeest begin their westward migration to the Boteti region. Whilst Botswana is a world-renowned safari destination, the wildebeest and zebra migration here is one of Africa’s best-kept secrets. Species include gemsbok, eland and red hartebeest, as well as kudu, lions, cheetah, leopard, duiker, giraffe, springbok, steenbok, and even elephant, with all the accompanying predators, as well as the rare brown hyena. The Makgadikgadi will provide opportunities to focus on semi-desert species such as elusive brown hyena, bat-eared fox or meerkats. During the game drive, you will be able to track the black maned lion of the Kalahari. The black maned lion of the Kalahari has a dominant color, its adaptation is very high and therefore it can survive in harsh conditions. African wild dogs, cheetahs, brown hyenas can also be found following their prey in this unmated wilderness.
