Petar was our skipper for the afternoon, and bonus – we were the only couple on the boat – it turned out to be a private sailing trip. Plus, we had two skippers, a trainee and Petar, the Captain of the sailboat. Before we left dock, he asked us if we planned to go swimming – we are Canadian, but seriously, swimming in May, the water was too cold. As we were sailing towards our first stop, Ošljak, a small, but beautiful island in the Zadar archipelago, we heard the roar of several planes above us. The Wings of Storm – Croatia’s Aerobatic team, were putting on a show in their Pilatus PC-9s. How do I know this, my husband is a retired, military, air traffic controller. We enjoyed our trip, the vistas were breathtaking with crystal clear water. We saw an acrobatic show, and dolphins, which was not part of the itinerary. Throughout our excursion, Petar was attentive accommodating. He was friendly, engaging and clearly passionate about sailing.

The hike was beautiful, the place is wonderful. We went in February so not high season but it was still a spectacle. The boat always works. There were fewer people. We left with a rented car from Zagreb and then on the way back we stopped in Rastoke. I highly recommend.

the experience itself is great, it stops you in interesting places. minus would be the sun beating on your head.

Great the guide Nimak was awesome and he was very friendly and made the trip incredibly amazing

The dolphins and the restaurant that the guide recommended to us
