What People Are Saying About Maui
This tour was beyond excellent. I believe this is because of Nathan's local knowledge, down-to-earth personality, and level of comfort with the windy Hana roads. He took the time to stop and pick us fruit, find us everything we wanted at local markets and stands, and made sure to explain LITERALLY everything about Maui's (and other Hawaiian islands') environment, history, and agriculture. By the end of this 12 hour tour, I felt no information or part of my experience was redundant. Each turn of the road to Hana was filled with new tidbits wisdom (I mean who else could nonchalantly break down the gender and reproduction patterns of coconuts!?), good laughs, and magnificent sights. Thanks Nathan!
Our guide, Nathan, was very personable and made our day unique, memorable and extremely enjoyable. He was very considerate of our needs and flexible. The vehicle was so comfortable I want one for all of our family trips. The snacks were delicious and the lunch was the best meal we had on the islands, period, including the luaus. His driving was very responsible so it allowed us to enjoy the view without concern for the hazardous road conditions. The Road to Hana was the best tour we had on any of the islands. I highly recommend it with this guide. Kudos to Nathan from the Ward family.
Guide was very knowledgeable. The Mercedes van was very comfortable and the group size was perfect (max 8). They picked us up at the hotel on the west side and we drove thru the center of Maui to the Road to Hana. Continued on around the southeast and south side of Maui. Plenty of stops to get out and see the sights but because we toured the entire island (12 hours) there wasn't really time for swimming at any one stop. Loved the tour.
