What People Are Saying About Masada
The tour started at a pick-up point at a hotel. The description stated Tel Aviv or Jerusalem pick up, but after I booked they sent an info about several additional convenient pick-up points along the coast. We went to Jerusalem first, for a very informative walk around various locations in the Old City. The guide was excellent and the pace was relaxed. Great photo opportunities gave me heaps of likes on social media :) In the afternoon I was placed in a nice 3,5star hotel which should get 4 stars easily. The second day started with a trip to Masada, which was even better than I expected. Another great guide, everything very well planned - breaks in the shade, water refills, over one hour relaxed lunch in an air-conditioned mall... And then off we go to a nice, well equipped beach at the dead sea. There you could put your things in the locker or leave them with your guide, have a dip in the water, take a shower, have a snack at the bar. A good tour, highly recommended!
The tour was very well organized. We had a fantastic guide (Eli) who informed us with all necessary details not only in Masada but all the time on the way as well as in Kali (Dead Sea - where we stayed nearly two hours). We saw the lowest bar in the world (418 meters below the sea level) and had a rest in the salty water (34 percent). Unforgettable!
The guides were both very well informed with friendly personalities and the tour took us to numerous beautiful and historic sites. We covered an amazing breadth of territory for two day tour. The overnight hotel was first class. I highly recommend this tour.
This tour to the Dead Sea and Masada was well organized, educational, and fun. The tour guide, Nili, was quite knowledgeable about the subject matter and presented the information well. Her English was good and she easily went back in forth from English to Spanish. She and the bus driver made some changes to our itinerary in order to avoid some of the crowds but it is difficult nevertheless to avoid all the tours coming through such an exciting area. Despite all these crowds, Nili was able to keep track of us while allowing us time off on our own. The swim in the Dead Sea and the visit to Masada were great. The stop at Ahava was a mad house and we could have done with out it allowing us more time at Masada which we had to cut short because it was getting late.
