Phillip Island: Penguins, Kangaroos, and Koalas
- Transportation included
- Duration: 9 hours
Liam is very nice & informative Can’t see much the penguin, just our luck Could have let us know / allow as well upgrade (chargeable) on the undergrouNd platform and inform us on the possibly strong / chill wind (so we can dress appropriately, ended up buying blankets) Thank you! Will highly recommend the tour
The penguin parade is a fantastic ancient spectacle of nature. I recommend purchasing Penguin + option to get access to a viewing platform that allows seeing penguins up close as they march home. It’s interesting how “human” they can be. We had fantastic driver Richard.
Very easy to book and find the meeting point. We loved the guide Kerry, he gave us loads of additional information about Melbourne and the penguins. The only thing we didn’t enjoy was the wildlife stop, it felt very commercial and the animals didn’t look very happy.
Was a great day out with all driving taken care of. The light at penguins was very low so been visually challenged in low lighting made it not easy to see. Would recommend a small pair of binoculars for anyone going with visual issues .
Very enjoyable - long day though - got back around midnight. Highly recommend upgrading to at least the platform for viewing Penguins - saw many. Fed the Kangaroos and saw many native animals and the wild animal reserve.
