Drive through the dramatic landscape of the Alpilles national park made of gorges and limestone canyon to reach the medieval village of Les Baux de Provence built on a rocky spur. The 12th century fortress was built by a family of knights, the lords of Les Baux. The valley offers a panoramic view on olive trees fields and vineyards. Free time at leisure to walk into the village and soak up the atmosphere of these narrow streets filled with history.
Drive to Saint-Remy de Provence Roman site to see the Roman triumphal arch and mausoleum of the Plateau des antiques located near the archaeological site of the ancient city of Glanum. Photo stop and free time at leisure in Saint Remy village or Provencal market (on Wednesdays).
