Full description
Escape the bustling souks, streets and palaces of Marrakech, and climb on the back of a camel to ride through the beautiful Palmeraie on the outskirts of the city. Although the real desert is too far from the city center, about 20 minutes drive away lies an oasis of manicured gardens, sweet-scented orange trees and palm groves that make ideal terrain for a spot of light camel riding. A driver will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to meet the camel handlers and their trusty beasts. They will then guide you into the Palmeraie and on through authentic villages and green palm groves. Discover how the locals live outside the city center. And end with a fresh mint tea in a typical nomadic tent.

The five of us really enjoyed our camel ride. We still haven’t stopped talking about it and every time we look at the photos it makes us smile some more. We were collected from our hotel and dropped back which was great and our guide who led us round was friendly and helpful taking lots of photos for us. The camels were lovely too. We finished the trip with Moroccan tea.

The camel ride experience was awesome.Ee got picked up on time and arriver there earlier than expected.I was afraid once on the camel but the gentleman who took us for the ride was very reassuring and by the time it was over I felt very confident. We were happy with the service and will give it 5 stars.

The camel ride was good if you've never taken one.

The camel ride was fun for a first-time experience. The people running it were very nice. The Palmerie was, as other people have said, not exactly lush. It was sparse on palm trees but lots of garbage (water bottles, etc. lying around. The driver, on the other hand, was absolutely wonderful. I can't say enough good about him. He was prompt and friendly and could not have been more helpful. We wanted to purchase an item while in Marrakech. On the way back to the hotel, we asked him how far it was from our hotel, just for the information, and he took us there, bargained for us, and then took us back to the hotel. Wow! It doesn't get better than that!
