What people are saying about Marrakech

This tour fully met our expectations! Our driver picked us up on time with a modern minivan. On our way, we had the opportunity to stop and take photos at any time! In Imlil, our guide Sabir was already waiting for us. Together we went to a Berber house, where a woman was waiting to cook with us a tajine with lot of fresh vegetables and chicken. We also got Moroccan mint tea and Sabir told us interesting facts about Morocco and the Berber life. Sabir’s English was really good and he did a great job the whole time! While the tajine was cooking for an hour and a half, we went on a hike where we could enjoy the countryside away from tourists. Back at the house, we ate our tajine, lentils and freshly baked bread. It was delicious! After lunch we hiked to a small waterfall before heading back to the place where our driver was already waiting for us. On the way back we were lucky that our driver chose a different route so that we could also see the stone desert and other mountain villages!

Had a bit of a hiccup to start - my booking didn’t show on their system so I didn’t get picked up. But GetYourGuide has excellent customer service and they got in touch with the tour provider who was very apologetic and professional about it all. The manager arranged another tour guide for me and the tour was great! He had a lot of information about the city and took me around both the popular tourist areas as well as the inner-city alleys. Would definitely recommend the tour!

Great experience! Driver and guide were very knowledgeable, great way to learn about the Berber way of living and people. The good was incredible! Plus they make sure you’re well fed the entire time. No need to eat breakfast before. I didn’t take the right shoes, it’s a beautiful and simple hike but I wish I brought athletic shoes! Many people also didn’t have them, so make sure you keep that in mind. I would 110% recommend. Real bang for your buck! Incredible

The actual camel ride is a fun experience that is long enough to enjoy but not too long that you get tired. The part that gets one star is the logistics of getting here. We were told a 915 pick up and instead were picked up at 10. Not a problem if at our hotel but since we had to wait in a square it was very annoying. They provided no update either via phone or email to let us know they were running late so we just waited around.

Was very nice, the camels are nice and tall. We wore traditional clothing. The guide was very friendly. Only point is that I was expecting to conduct my own camel, and they tie one camel to the other one, and one guide in front leads all of them. maybe if we could try the camels alone or with someone together on the camel back (for security) would be more interesting. Like camel run, or something.
