The valley offers a great escape from the heat of Marrakech for the locals during summer months. This group day trip to Ourika Valley from MArrakech is ideal for nature lovers and light trek into one of the small size waterfalls, or just relax and have a snack at one of the local cafés unted the shade of the walnut tress next to the stream. After a 30 minutes drive via the fertile Haouz Planes, you will reach Tnin Ouika center, where you will stop for a visit of the open air Berber weekly market. It is operated every day, but Mondays are much busier and lively. From here you will continue up to Setti Fatma. On the way, stop at a Berber house where you can share a cup of mint tea with the locals before you continue to Stti Fatma Berber village. Our guide was really amazing. The communication was good, we were collected from our hotel at the time stated. The driver was very nice and helpful and the car was lovely and clean. Journey was comfortable. I highly recommend this day trip as Ourika valley is close to Marrakesh and absolutely beautiful.

Successful!

Successful day trip to the waterfalls in the Ourika valley. Arrival with approx. 1.5 hours very pleasant km small bus. Driver is very silent. Only the guide, which is not included in the price, is very good at 100dh, but then surprisingly expensive. That the whole thing ends in lunch in a fixed price menu shop is authentic, but still a bit annoying.

Nice trip to the Ourika waterfalls

Nice trip, our driver Maxim was a perfekt guide and gave us always a helping hand. The visit of the argan oil cooperation was interesting and relaxed being not pushed to shop (of course they guide you to the showroom, if you want to). Maxim organized us a guide named Khalid, a very kind and friendly (french and english speaking) local, who guided us perfectly the whole way through. The way up to the falls is full stacked with souvenir stand and the interesting part starts at the top and the way down, where you can get an image how beautiful the nature was, before starting to build the tourist infrastructure. Thank you very much Maxim and thank you very much Khalid
