What People Are Saying About Marrakech
Nice team, good instructions and an excellent balance between cooking and learning about cultur and herbs!
Really enjoyed this. We were greeted with tea and coffee, made bread, undertook a blind smell test, made tagine, learnt how to cut an onion like a Moroccan (which I was terrible at!), learnt how to make three unique salads, squished some very buttery crepes, and played with the tiniest greatest puppy. Michel made us feel so comfortable and really brought the theatrics to the day. This class was a highlight of the whole trip. Do it! Catered for vegetarians deliciously.
Karima was everything we hoped for. I was in Marrakech with a friend for a short stay. We're both keen cooks, and thought it would be fun to try this class. We were fortunate in being the only two "pupils" and after shopping in the markets, we prepared Moroccan salad and chicken tagine in her riad, and were taught how to make mint tea the Moroccan way (not quite what you expect). Karima was patient, knowledgeable and enthusiastic -- even after having to do the same demonstration every day. A great ambassadress for Marrakech -- and the food was delicious. Highly recommended.
The Cooking Workshop with Michel and his team was perfectly organized and the atmosphere was amazing. It felt like a day with friends. I would highly recommend this workshop to all who love cooking and even to those who don't. It's a great experience! And the moroccan food you are going to prepare is just delicious. I cant wait to try the recipes at home. By the way: I'm a vegetarian and that was no problem at all. Thanks again for this great day!
Welcoming staff, very nice environment, good translation, great chef, recepies and ingredients far above average, very taste results served on the beautiful terrace - it was absolutely worth the money spent!
