Augusta: Jewel Cave Fully-Guided Tour

1. Augusta: Jewel Cave Fully-Guided Tour

Jewel Cave is the largest show cave in Western Australia, composed of three massive chambers. Visitors are immediately in awe of the sheer enormity of the first chamber, which is also home to one of the longest straw stalactites found in any tourist cave in Australia. Towering crystal formations, growing for many thousands of years, reach up towards delicate and intricate decorations suspended like vines across the ceiling. Hear stories of the "Tasmanian tiger" fossils found in the cave — these animals perished in the darkness after falling into the cave thousands of years ago. After exiting the cave, you'll have the option to take a self-guided walk through the towering karri forest above, during which you'll pass by the natural entrance to the cave, a small vertical shaft in the forest floor.

This tour was fantastic! We were conveniently collected from our hotel and taken on a wildlife adventure. Our tour guides, Ryan and Matt were very informative both on the drive and during our time at the sanctuary. We saw lots of nocturnal animals and were able to feed and pat the kangaroos. There were plenty of photo opportunities and we were not rushed at all. It was an awesome experience to be in the middle of the bush at night but to feel very secure at the same time. Perfect for all ages and fitness levels. Highly recommend!

Just want to say I had an amazing time on this winery tour. We had a great bunch on board and our guide/driver Liv was amazing. Beautiful scenery throughout and the wineries we stopped were awesome. Liv was very helpful sorting out the whereabouts of “white port”. Looking forward to my next adventure with The Dudes.

Billy was a great host. The 2 other young couples were great company. Discovered a new magnificent winery (family business) with all aged reds as good as any I've experienced....and won the quiz at the end (age must have some benefits!)...great day Mike McKee

Chris was a very pleasant, knowledgable and helpful tour guide. The tour was the best way to see a variety of attractions in the Margaret River area in one day. The group of 10 passengers were respectful and on time.
