From £22 per personBook now
- Learn all about the culture, history, and traditions of the people of Marbella
- See the wonderful old city center with its narrow alleys and white facades
- Bike along the old city wall and see the remains of the town as it was in Moorish times
- Visit the old fishing village in the east of the city
The tour begings on the boardwalk, from where you’ll have a wonderful view of the Bay of Marbella. See the Dali sculptures as well as the Alameda Park, the yacht dock and the remains of the “El Fuerte” fortress. Move on to the old city, where the typical white Andalusian house walls and the ochre walls of the old Moorish town are woven together with small streets and narrow alleyways to create a complex labyrinth. The ride through the old city along the florid facades of the Plaza Santo Cristo is a true pleasure. Here, you’ll also find the church of the same name, one of the oldest buildings in the city.
After leaving the contorted alleys of the old city center behind, you’ll head for the traditional fishing village in the eastern part of Marbella, the Barrio de los Pescadores. You most certainly shouldn’t go home without having this experience, because Marbella is not just a place of luxury and beauty; it’s also about hard work and the safeguarding of old traditions.
The Marbella Classic Tour is appropriate for all ages. The streets are mostly flat, with a few easy climbs. Every few hundred meters, we’ll make a brief stop to check out the views. Helmets and child seats are available, free of charge, upon request.
