Spend a day in the Amazon, the world’s largest river basin and the source of one-fifth of all free-flowing fresh water on Earth. Its rainforests are the planet’s largest and most luxuriant, and home to – amazingly – one in ten of Earth's known species. Containing nearly 40,000 plant species, the Amazon sustains the world’s richest diversity of birds, freshwater fish and butterflies. One of the world’s last refuges for jaguars, harpy eagles and pink dolphins, its thousands of tree species are home to southern two-toed sloths, pygmy marmosets and Goeldi’s monkeys. Your tour will begin with a pick-up at your Manaus hotel, or airport. From there you will enjoy a boat cruise to Lake January to see the meeting of the waters at Negro and Amazon Rivers. Switch to canoes and enter the waterway for dolphin observation and to visit the famous Victoria Regia water lilies. Sail by speedboat to an ...

This was my favorite tour I did of the Amazon. I saw some gorgeous plants, some fascinating animals, and the tour guide was great. You will definitely see bats and enjoy swimming with some fish. Bring clothes that are easy to change in or wear your swimsuit under! The only comment I would have would be to request the tour use a more environmental food place. The place they take you to serves animal products and animal products are highly destructive to the planet. With a plant based restaurant or at least plant based food for everyone on the tour I would say this tour was perfect.

The only inconvenience was that the guide didn't know English, and in the booking details was written about a bilingual guide. Overall a nice experience, I would recommend it.

It was absolutely amazing! The tour was exactly as it's been promised n even better. The weather was ok in the beginning but as it seemed that is going to change I asked my guide Milto, I believe his name, to start from the dolphins as that was and my priority and he agreed. In general the guide was very informative, flexible, calm n fluent jn English! He didn't mind to extend the 4 hours that the tour was supposed to take and drive us as smooth as possible through the waves because on our way back there was a storm. I totally recommend the tour with this guide who actually is running a private business in Amazon so he knows how to treat tourists.
