Full description
Take a 2-and-a-half to 3-hour Segway tour for a unique experience during your stay in Malta. Start out at 09:30 with a professionally trained tour leader and head out to see some of the island’s main attractions. You’ll begin with an orientation session to make sure that you’re comfortable on your Segway Personal Transporter. First, you'll visit Dingli. This is a quaint village situated in the highest area of Malta, which is an example of a traditional Maltese village. The village is surrounded by Natura 2000 sites, protected for their ecological and archeological importance. Dingli is best known for its picturesque cliffs that stand around 300 meters above the sea. Several prehistoric sites have been found near Dingli. See the so-called Clapham Junction cart ruts, unexplained parallel tracks hewn in the rock, and several megalithic caves – both evidence of significant human activity in ancient times. There is archeological evidence tracing civilizations here back to the times of the Phoenicians and the Carthaginians – nearly 2,800 years ago. Phoenician and Carthaginian tombs were also used by the Romans, who occupied Malta around 200 B.C.

Absolutely recommendable. Our guide Matthew told us a lot about Dingli and the history. He showed us places that we would not have found on our own. It was also very pleasant that there were only two of us with the guide at the end of September. It was a very nice tour that everyone who likes to drive Segway should definitely do. At the end there were also pictures that Matthew took of the two of us.

fantastic time with matthew!

We had no idea that the tour started about 30 minutes from the port and at first we were a little skeptical to venture that far out but honestly it was the best thing we did! The country side of Malta is amazing...The Dingli cliffs were spectacular and the experience overall was five stars! The added bonus was the stories Matthew shared that have been passed down from his grandmother...so that was an added bonus. Thanks Matthew!

All the way from the garage to Dingli cliffs was marvelous. Among trees and flowers, The Almond Blossom was beautiful. The view from the Cliffs was amazing. Our segway guide Anton and his assistant explained to us everything we asked about. Really Excellent
