Well organized and a great day out! We arrived an hour early and were able to board and relax before the boat departed. Captain Kevin was informative and an extremely skilled driver. It was overcast and not overly warm but we were still able to swim in the Blue Lagoon and the water was mildly cold. We then went to Gozo for 3 hours which you definitely need because it is a 30 minute bus ride from the ferry port to Victoria. It was a relaxing day and would highly recommend Hornblower Cruises.
Great experience. If you can't get onto the top deck make sure to sit on the left side of the boat as that's where all the best views are captured from. Great captain/guide. Music good throughout Journey. The lock on the 1st ladies toilet is quite stiff and my partner got stuck inside for a min ( gave me a bit of peace at least 🤣 ) Great slide off boat into blue lagoon on arrival or jump in off the top deck if brave enough. If you get off boat and Access land there's isn't much to see and the deck chairs are on steep Rockie ground with no safe access into the water. The small beach around other side was already full from other boats. The Hornblower definitely best boat as none of the other newer boats that arrived had direct access to the sea and Captain tells you on arrival the boat is the best base. Plenty of food drink choices and they take card payment also. ( Cash only for bus to Gozo & Speedboat ) Gozo beautiful tip take your own tissue/ loo paper as Gozo public toilets ran out.

Meeting point
IMPORTANT: The departure point has moved due to construction. This is updated on the supplier's website and in the meeting point on your ticket but taxi drivers and other locals are not yet accustomed to the change. Please make sure you give them the correct address which is 24, Triq San Geraldu, St Pauls Bay. This location is situated right behind LOA restaurant. Look for a big white and blue boat with Hornblower written in red on the side located right behind Loa Restaurant. Try to be at the boat at least 45 minutes to an hour before to avoid any added stress If you are traveling by local bus there are three bus stops within walking distance called Parades, Bandieri, and Toni. If you are traveling by car, parking spaces are available on the road free of charge in the white boxes. There is also a little parking area by the stop. If you are traveling by taxi, please make sure the driver has the correct address.
