Full description

Explore the beautiful Comino Island and the surroundings on a day tour by boat. Discover the Ahrax Cave, Santa Maria Cave, and other famous sights before swimming or snorkeling in the clear waters of the Blue Lagoon. You will depart from St. Paul's Bay and begin your cruise along the northern coast of Malta. Pass by all of the sights including St. Paul's Islands and the statue of St. Paul's, and Ahrax Point. Continue cruising through the north channel of Comino as you pass by the elephants' head, Santa Maria Bay, St. Nicholas Bay, and the Comino hotel. Make quick stops to enter both Ahrax Cave and Santa Maria Cave. Throughout the journey, Captain Kevin will inform you about the sites and give you information regarding Malta. After approximately 1 hour, arrive on Comino island in the famous Blue Lagoon. The boat will moor up and you can enjoy a stop of 4.5 hours. During the journey, feel free to use all the facilities on board the boat or get off and explore the island. Relax and sunbathe on the top deck or find some shade on the main deck. Take a refreshing plunge into the cool, crystal-clear water.  Take advantage of male and female toilet facilities, lockers, and the cafeteria which serves hot and cold beverages. At the end of your time in Comino, head off to the island of Gozo without stopping.  Cruise around the Mgarr Harbour and see more important sites from the boat. Return to Malta via the south channel of Comino, passing by Crystal Lagoon and its caves and St. Mary's tower.

• IMPORTANT: We have recently moved our departure point due to construction works. We have updated our site and the meeting point on your ticket but taxi drivers and other locals are not yet accustomed to the change. Please make sure you give them the correct address which is 24, Triq San Geraldu, St Pauls Bay. We are situated right behind LOA restaurant. • Look for a big white and blue boat with Hornblower written in red on the side located right behind Loa Restaurant. Try to be at the boat at least 45 minutes to an hour before to avoid any added stress • If you are traveling by local bus there are three bus stops within walking distance called Parades, Bandieri, and Toni. See which one is closer for you • If you are traveling by car, parking spaces are available on the road free of charge in the white boxes. There is also a little parking area by the stop • If you are traveling by taxi, please make sure the driver has the correct address

Know before you go

  • The boat moors up in a secluded non-crowded area in the Blue Lagoon which is 3 meters deep
  • If you have swimming difficulties, you can enter the water from the beach or use the buoyancy aid available on the boat (available for a €10 deposit)
  • To take part in the optional speedboat ride around the small caves near Comino Island, bring €15 in cash to be paid on site

Die Tour war einfach der Hammer. Wir sind zuerst zur blauen Lagune gefahren. Wie nah der Kapitän da an die Klippen ranfährt ist beeindruckend. Danach haben wir eine Rundfahrt auf Gozo unternommen. Der Kapitän ist sehr freundlich und lässt einem stets wissen durch seine Ansagen wo und wann etwas los ist! Würden diesen Ausflug wieder machen!

Une super après-midi passée sur le bateau ! L’équipe à bord est très gentille et serviable. De ce fait, j’ai fais tomber mon porte monnaie dans l’eau (carte d’identité, permis etc..) ils sont partit me le chercher lors de notre escapade à Comino. En arrivant sur le bateau ils me l’ont donner alors que je pensais devoir aller dans l’eau le chercher. Les paysages sont sublimes. Nous restons environ 4h sur comino ce qui est très bien car nous avons le temps de se baigner et visiter. Il y a de la musique sur le bateau ce qui donne une vraie ambiance. Je recommande les yeux fermés !

Nous avons profité de la croisière hornblower en novembre (arrière saison) . le capitaine et son personnel étaient tous accessibles et disponible envers les participants. La croisière a été très adaptée à notre fille de 5 ans . Nous étions très peu de touristes et nous avons tous pu avoir un transat sur le pont supérieur . La météo en novembre n’a rien à envier à celle du printemps , une journée à couper le souffle et des paysages de fou. Le toboggan très très fun et on peut même sauter du haut du bateau. C’était vraiment une super journée
