With pick-ups from any hotel in Malta, the tour you will take you through Cospicua, a double-fortified harbor city, and the largest of the 3 cities you will visit. Cospicua was given the title “Citta' Cottonera,” but erroneously this is now used to define the whole region. Continue to Vittoriosa, ideally situated for safe anchorage. Over time it has developed a long history of maritime, mercantile, and military activities. Prior to the establishment of Valletta as capital and main city of Malta, military powers that wanted to rule the Maltese islands would need to obtain control of Vittoriosa, due to its significant position in the Grand Harbour. The 3rd city, Senglea, is also called “Civitas Invicta,” because it managed to resist the Ottoman invasion at the Great Siege of 1565. The name Senglea was given by the grandmaster Claude De La Sengle, and the island on which it lies was joined by a land bridge to Cospicua during the time of the Knights of St. John. You will walk through the charming narrow streets of the town, shaded by dozens of historic churches and buildings. You will then drive to Marsovin Cellars in Marsa. Your tour will commence with a historical introduction, followed by an explanation about the process of how locally grown grapes are pressed, fermented, and eventually transformed into wine. A walk through the 400-year-old Ageing Cellars provides an authentic piece of Maltese heritage. To end your excursion, head to the Marsovin wine bar, where trained staff guide guests through a wine-tasting session. Absolutely must-do activity if you are in Malta! Regarding the boat, it was full so it was quite difficult to find a place. But the boat ride is definitely worth it! The blue lagoon is just magical, you have one hour to swim and 3 hours on the island of Gozo. If you want to fully enjoy the island of Gozo and see the whole of it, it would take a full day. But if you are in Malta for a few days, this activity is highly recommended !! Very nice guide

Overall, I really enjoyed this tour from mainland Malta to Gozo. The reason I say this is because it’s not just about the amazing sights, but it’s also being able to see these sights while doing different activities. I really found it to be lots of fun and very insightful. It was also the perfect duration, for the type of day it was. I would 100% recommend this activity as it’s value for money without doubt.

What a lovely tour!! Definitely a must do in Malta. One of my favorite tours. Mark the tour guide is energetic and extremely knowledgeable. The three cities are iconic, we even got to visit a local church which was a bonus!!! The wine tasting was beautifully executed by Fabian. A memorable experience that I will remember for the rest of my life. My favorite tour in all of Malta! ❤️
