Malmö: Discover the City. Self-Guided Audio Walking Tour

2. Malmö: Discover the City. Self-Guided Audio Walking Tour

Welcome to this self-guided audio walking tour through friendly Malmö. As the third-largest city in Sweden, with almost 350.000 inhabitants, Malmö is the most cosmopolitan one. Malmö was Danish for hundreds of years, and finally in 1660 it became Swedish. Ship building and construction industries drove the economy in the 19th and 20th centuries, but nothing last forever and Malmö was forced to reinvent itself. The city transformed from an industrial center into a vibrant hub for innovation, education, and diversity. Modern Malmö now stands as a beacon of multiculturalism and forward-thinking. So, are you ready to discover Malmö's past and present?

Grazi was our guide and we could not have asked for a better guide. She was superb and ensured that she catered to all our needs, finding out what we liked and ensuring that we saw everything we wanted and went to everywhere we wanted. She was extremely knowledgeable and had a great way of communicating her knowledge. She took many photos of us and sent them to us whilst we were on the train back to Copenhagen. As I am extremely fussy over what I eat, she took us to a great place for lunch and my lunch was the best meal I had on this holiday. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she mixed the old and the new. She was extremely caring, noticing my husband was limping slightly (I had not noticed) and then used public transport to save him walking quite as much. She even explained certain occasions when she was with her family for celebrations in town and gave us the feel of what it was like to be there. I would highly recommend Grazi to anyone visiting Malmo.

Very nice tour, lots of information about Malmö. Sometimes the GPS takes a while, but everything is easy to find.
