Our guide Catalina was great - she gave us just enough interesting facts about Mallorca and the places we visited, was very well organised, confident and funny. Also, our driver Gerardo was very professional and drove safely through the bendy roads - master behind the wheel. Amazing views, lovely places with a familiar flavour in Valdemossa, where Fryderyk Chopin, our Polish composer, spent some time to improve his health. It was an awesome day and we sincerely recommend No Frills Excursions. Pav and Magda

Full description

Spend a full day exploring northern Mallorca with a visit to the Soller Valley and Valldemossa. Begin by driving to the mountains of Soller Valley and then taking a walk to the train station where you will see an exhibition featuring ceramics from Picasso and paintings from Miro. Walk around Soller, admiring the main square, the modernist façade of the church, and the house of Can Prunera. Take the Tren Sóller historic train to the Port of Soller where you will learn about its history, then enjoy free time to get lunch somewhere in the area. Continue along mountain roads, passing the Llucalcari, Deia, and La Foradada, stopping along the way for photos. Finally, arrive in the village of Valldemossa for an 80-minute visit. Consider seeing the Carthusian Monastery, or taking a break for coffee, before beginning your return trip.

What a brilliant trip, a must! We had the lovely Catalina as our tour guide who was so funny and a joy to listen to on route round. Fernando the great coach driver who got us around safely. Stunning places to visit thoroughly enjoyed the day and seeing it all, very glad we booked to do it.
