Enjoy a tour of rural Mallorca, visiting local markets and charming villages. Stop at a typical wine cellar and buy wine for lunch that you’ll help prepare later in the tour. Experience the tastes of Mallorca during lunch at an old farm cottage.
What to Expect
The tour heads out in the morning to Maria de la Salut, a small, typical village located in the Mallorcan countryside. Visit the tiny weekly market and see the stunning Baroque church square. You’ll have some free time to explore the village before stopping at a bakery to buy bread for lunch.
Your full-day excursion continues on to Binissalem, where you’ll have a look around the small local market and help your guide select fruit and vegetables for lunch. You’ll visit a typical wine cellar to buy the wine to accompany your lunch and then stop at a traditional Mallorcan townhouse to experience the typical local architecture.
Continue to an old farm cottage and help prepare a barbecue lunch and learn how to make some traditional Mallorcan dishes. Enjoy the lunch that’s prepared with the ingredients you purchased at the market earlier in the day.
