Full description
Discover the Caminito del Rey on this guided day trip from Costa del Sol. Begin your tour at the Conde del Guadalhorce dam and follow an easy and safe route along nearly 8 kilometers of footbridges and trails. Follow your guide as they take you from the town of Ardales to the town of Álora. Learn about the history of the path, and its inauguration by King Alfonso XIII in 1905. Find out why it was declared one of the most dangerous trails in the world when it was built, and why now after its renovation, it's perfectly safe. Enjoy an adrenaline rush as you cross the Desfiladero de los Gaitanes, a narrow footbridge anchored to the rock and suspended in the air. Feel the thrill at the end as you cross the suspension bridge, more than 100 meters high. Meet your bus at the end of the tour, and head back to your pick-up location.

Unfortunately, one of the few ways to get tickets for the Caminito del Rey at short notice is through providers like these ... so we had a trip from Malaga and a very committed young lady as a guide with us. The added value of the information was rather low, but it was available in every language that was represented on the bus :-) The Caminito del Rey itself is great and as a hike not particularly long or strenuous. For those who have problems with altitude, it may be a bigger challenge, but for us (who also get a little uncomfortable at high altitudes from time to time) the path was easily manageable. The newly renovated path makes a great impression, is wide and gives you a sense of security. You will definitely be rewarded with a spectacular hike!

Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic. She gave very clear instructions and was very helpful, making it a seamless experience. The hike was great, it was not a difficult walk, although perhaps not for the faint hearted as the path was narrow in places and very steep! The views were stunning, I highly recommend!
