What people are saying about Mafra National Palace
We were in Lisbon from Monday to Friday so booked the 72 hour pass. It was absolutely brilliant and covers museums, exhibitions, trams and trains. It covers the train to Sintra too. It also makes getting into everywhere so much quicker and means you don't need to carry cash, buy a ticket each time you travel, or queue into museums and monuments. In Lisbon most of the sights are closed on a Monday to a good idea to start it on Tuesday (we started at noon) and then it will last till noon on the Friday.
Well worth it because you can try everything. We definitely got our money back and were able to try things that in other circumstances were not worth the entry fee. A must have if you want a day or two to explore Lisbon. Though make sure you have more than 4 things you want to do.
This site provided the best value Lisbon card that I could find. Skip the line wasn't always possible which was a bit disappointing (Belem Tower had a huge queue) Worth getting this card is you plan to use public transport, funiculars etc as part of your sight seeing.
The amount of options available are great, including a good mix of sites and activities for free with the card. All transportation is included making it super easy to go out and do it all!
Read the book that comes with the card to get the most out of it. Treat it as museum and transport card and you won't go far wrong. Great for jumping on and off trams and busses.
