Then, glide over to the Royal Theater (Teatro Real) with its restored 1850 Opera House. Continue to the 19th-century Iglesia de Santiago and Plaza de la Villa. Look at the royal monastery of the Monasterio de las Descalzas Reales, before experiencing the hectic pace of Plaza de Callao.
Route 2: Madrid by the River (1.5 Hours)
This route takes in Madrid’s most cosmopolitan and green zones. Following your short training session at Calle Escalinata, discover the sights along the banks of the Rio Manzanares. See historical bridges, such as the Baroque-style Bridge of Toledo and the city’s oldest river crossing at the Bridge of Segovia, built from granite stone under the reign of King Philip II. Discover new city icons, such as the futuristic footbridge of the Arganzuela Gangway by Dominique Perrault. This route is especially recommended for families with small children.
Route 3: Tapas and Tour (2.5 Hours)
The 3rd route is the longest and most complete option, presenting 2.5 hours of history, legends, monuments, landscapes, fun and gastronomy. As with the previous routes, you will meet your guide on Calle Escalinata near the Ópera metro station for a short training session before embarkation.
