See Madrid's major sights on a leisurely walk with a local guide. You’ll learn about the city's history, from its Muslim origins to the thriving modern capital it is today. Enjoy a refreshment and tapa at the end of the tour!
What to Expect
On this 4-hour guided walking tour you’ll see all the important sights of Madrid. You will be accompanied by a local guide who will tell you about the city’s history and share some interesting anecdotes and legends as well. A stop for tapas and a drink at the end of the tour is included.
You’ll be met by your guide at your hotel. The tour ends at Plaza Mayor, and you may be hungry by this time. If you like, a table can be reserved for you for lunch, or your guide would be happy to recommend a restaurant.
Your guide will take you to the impressive and photo-worthy Cuartel del Conde Duque, Templo de Debod, San Antonio de la Florida, and the lovely Jardines del Moro.
You’ll see Las Vistillas, San Francisco el Grande, La Latina, Puerta del Sol, and Plaza de la Villa, before ending the tour at Plaza Mayor.
The weather may impact this walking tour, so you should be prepared for rain even though Madrid is generally not a very rainy place. Also, if you have any special requirements or would like to end the tour at a different spot, please indicate this when making your booking.
