Besides the World Championships, many important cycling races have taken place on the Cauberg, such as the Amstel Gold Race. The Cauberg is an indispensable part of Thermae 2000. In 1989 three springs were tapped into the Cauberg for thermal water. All baths in the wellness resort are equipped with this thermal water.
