Our tour was perfect. LouLou was very personable, very engaging, and very passionate about vegan food in France. We loved the places where she fed us. The portions were varied, very filling, and tasty, but not so filling that I felt sick at the end. Truly a great use of our short time in Lyon.

Julie was our guide for this three hour tour of Lyon, accompanied by delicious vegan food! We started in Place de la Croix Rousse (take the funicular metro to get there!) and worked our way down slowly, stopping along the way to see some of the well known, and less well known sights. The tour starts at 3pm and I recommend that you do not have lunch, or at least minimal food! Especially the last stop there is enough food to keep you going. There were two “sweet” stops (dessert and ice cream respectively) and two “savory” stops (brunch salad and burger respectively), but they are alternated sweet-savory. The food was excellent and so good to find these places that you might not find on your own, to go back to later. The tour was interesting also and we hit some places that you wouldn’t find on your own including some of the traboules. Thanks Julie for a great afternoon, we had a lot of fun! We ended on Place des Terreaux so we had to stop for an aperitif afterwards :).
