About the movie "Paris Can Wait"?
The director Eleanor Coppola once went from Cannes to Paris by car with her husband's colleague, and these two days turned into tasting the "flavors of France." That's how the idea of her first fiction film was born. You do not get much of a plot, but you get the atmosphere of French countryside and a lot of deliciousness.
The idea of my tour is to bring this route to life with all the stops, aesthetics and gourmet food that you see on the screen.
Itinerary
You will travel through the towns of Provence and the Rhone Valley, UNESCO heritage sites and national parks, see flower fields and landscapes painted by impressionists, picturesque villages with authentic simplicity or medieval severity. The program is as close as possible to the experience of the film's characters: you will visit the same (or at least very similar) restaurants, hotels and museums, you will feel as if you yourself were filming this movie.
French cuisine and more
At some point, Anna asks Jacques: "Does everything remind you of food?" "Yes!" - he answers.
While watching "Paris Can Wait" we all get our mouths watering from the presentation of the dishes they eat. And the description of French wines arouses great curiosity and a desire to take at least a sip. You will have a list of all the dishes, wines and even cheeses that are mentioned in the film, and places where you can try them.
The brochure also includes descriptions of the places you will see. I will pay special attention to the cultural references that were mentioned in the dialogues so that you get the full picture of the rich cultural context conceived by the director.
