Everything was as it should be. Of course, there was some waiting. However, the weather and the inadequate conditions of the airport affect the issue. The tour you take does not take you to Everest base camp. It takes you to Lukla airport and then to Everest View Hotel. In other words, with this tour you can go up to an altitude of 3800 m and you can only see Everest from the helicopter. You are traveling with a group of 5 people. The rear seats are a bit cramped. Important point; If you want the helicopter to land at a 5000+ point like Kalapathar, convey this to your guide. They can pick you up privately from Lukla airport and take you to those destinations. You get about 3 minutes of kalapathhar time, which is more than enough. Remember, your breathing cannot immediately adapt to this much altitude change. You have to pay a fee close to what you paid for this extra tour. Is it worth it? Yes, but do not just read the content of this tour and decide, it may be misleading. This is the proper main event in Nepal.

Well, this is now our BIGGEST bucket list trip ticked - and so successfully - WOW!! The whole heli tour was spectacular!! from the flight over the steep terraced lands to Lukla for refueling, to Everest itself (so close I felt like I could reach out and touch it!!) and seeing Base Camp, the Khumbu Icefall, the Western Cwm and Camp 2, the Lhotse Face.... such iconic vistas. Then on to the Everest View Hotel for a yummy breakfast and stunning views of Mt. Everest (I had to keep pinching myself that I was actually gazing upon Everest!!) Lhotse, Nuptse, Taboche and Ama Dablam. We had a few hours at the hotel just drinking it all in and there are paths all around where you can walk and "feel" like you are doing a bit of a "trek"! Our Fishtail Air heli pilot, Francois, was so professional and we felt safe the whole time! Bring extra cash for hotel gift souvenirs. Worth it - HIGHLY recommend this tour for anybody wanting to see Everest. Chris and Elissa - Vancouver, Canada

We had already been in contact with Nabin, the guide, a few days before the tour, as there had already been postponements and cancellations due to bad weather. As we were unfortunately very inflexible with our time, we obviously didn't want to miss the spectacle and Nabin helped us a lot and we were able to fly as planned. Pick-up from the hotel was no problem, a bit of a wait at the airport as 4 helicopters wanted to take off and we were in the last one, but it was no problem at all. The flight over the base camp and the proximity to Mount Everest, just wow. On the return flight we unfortunately had to skip the Everest View Hotel, instead we went to Lukla a second time. We had to wait a bit there because the weather was getting worse, but finally the helicopter was able to pick us up again and we were back at the airport in Kathmandu at around 2 p.m. An impressive experience and thanks to Nabin for the extraordinarily great support.

This tour is very well planned and worth the money. There was clear communication about everything which made the trip truly enjoyable. There were many people who had to be involved so it was hard to know who to tip but It was a once in a lifetime experience which I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to view this majestic mountain without trekking 14 days. It was also a beautiful day with blue sky which made for perfect viewing.

Once in a lifetime trip. It was breathtakingly beautiful. I would recommend this for people that don’t have the time to do the trek up, a cheat to see one of the most amazing mountain ranges! Nabin Pandey was excellent at making sure I was up to date and that I understood the process. Very seamless - excellent tour!
