Explore the area around Luang Prabang on a full-day elephant experience. Visit an elephant village, learn about the animals, and ride one to a jungle camp. After a picnic lunch, visit the Tad Sae Waterfall and travel down the Khan River on a boat.
What to Expect
Spend a day learning about and interacting with elephants on a trip from Luang Prabang. Depart in the morning and make your way to the elephant village where you will be briefed about your experience.
Then climb on back of an elephant and enjoy a 1.5-hour ride to the elephant jungle camp, passing through a unique natural jungle valley with limestone cascades. Upon arrival, enjoy a picnic lunch.
After lunch, continue to visit the Tad Sae Waterfall, where you can simply admire the cascades or go for a swim. Then head on a boat trip along the Khan River before returning back to Luang Prabang in the afternoon.
