  • Lovina: Sunrise Dolphin Watching Small Group Tour

    2. Lovina: Sunrise Dolphin Watching Small Group Tour

Spend a morning with the ocean’s most joyful creatures on a memorable sunrise dolphin watching tour. Capture striking photos of the sun creeping up from the horizon and glimpse dolphins break the waves as they swim in their pods.  Start with a very early wakeup at 3 AM. This is because dolphins are most active in the early morning. The experienced guide knows the habits and patterns of the dolphins inside out, meaning you’ll have the best possible chance of viewing them in their natural habitat. After your traditional Balinese boat tour, stop for a spot of breakfast before continuing to one of Bali’s most iconic spots. Handara Gate is a fantastic alternative to the popular Gates of Heaven, which usually has a 2-hour queue for photos. These equally attractive gates are a hidden gem, thought by the Balinese to separate the spiritual and physical world.

The pickup was on time. We drove about 2h 20min after that there was coffee and at 6 o'clock it started. Drive out a bit and there were many dolphins. After breakfast and then off to the gates. Our guide Tawan was very friendly and could speak English. It wasn't a problem if you wanted to stop somewhere. There is also a lot to see on the way from Bali.

The sunrise tour is amazing. We had the most amazing sunrise and were lucky to see many dolphins playing all around us for 2 hours. This was followed by the waterfalls and the temples. My guide Wayan was great and pick up was very punctual. He also offered to take many pictures for me as I was travelling alone. I highly recommend this tour.

Thank you so much for this experience! Giri was an amazing guide who told us a lot about the Balinese culture and nature! He even offered to show us around a coffee plantage as extra experience :) I would definitely recomment this trip!

There were a lot of dolphins! Definitely worth it to stand up to
