What to Expect
Visit the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, a world-class aquarium that showcases the marine life of the Pacific. Its 3 main galleries highlight the regions of Southern California and Baja, the Northern Pacific, and the Tropical Pacific. The Aquarium is home to 11,000 ocean animals representing nearly 500 species.
During your half-day admission you’ll also have access to the Aquarium’s outdoor exhibits, including Shark Lagoon, the Lorikeet Forest aviary, and Our Watersheds: Pathway to the Pacific.
There’s also a special exhibits gallery with changing exhibits, and you can learn more about veterinary care at the Molina Animal Care Center.
Meet the colony of Magellanic Penguins in the June Keyes Penguin Habitat, and engage with current science in the Ocean Science Center featuring NOAA’s Science on a Sphere.

The Aquarium is closed during the Long Beach Grand Prix and on Christmas Day.
