It was great. Being able to get on and off at different places when I wanted for an entire 24hr period, well you can't beat that for £7.50. Another group only booked a one way to Greenwich, thru who I don't know but I know they paid more than I did for their short trip as they had to get off at Tower Bridge because there was no way for them to get back from Greenwich. What a Maroon. Pays to shop the internet I guess.

Takes around 1.5hrs to go the full way from Westminster pier (at Boudicca statue) to Greenwich pier. There are 4 stops in all (Westminster pier, London eye pier (this is a short distance away), Tower pier, Greenwich pier). The boats are 45 mins between departures, from 10:00 (Westminster) with last boat leaving Greenwich around 17:45 (I think). The boats can seat around 500 people. There is loudspeaker commentary that points out some interesting things, but is a bit cheesy and has some advertisements of other trips the company does (city cruises I think). However the crew do a live commentary most trips that is much better and funny. I thought it was great. The commentary was provided by Jordan on the 2x cycles we done and as I say wadded value to the trip. This is best used as a leisurely way to get up and down the river and not really, in my opinion, a no-nonsense water taxi. Take it as an activity on its own and you won’t be disappointed.
