Full description

Explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site with a downloadable audio guide available in multiple languages to learn more about the mysteries surrounding the incredible megalithic monument. Marvel at the 40-ton rocks standing alone in a vast tract of open land. A feat of engineering and design dating back nearly 5,000 years, the curious Stonehenge structure continues to divide historians as to its precise purpose. Theories include that Stonehenge was a temple to the sun, an elaborate cemetery, and even that Merlin had a giant build the structure for him.

The driver is the best there is, told us a lot and hung out with us in a natural and pleasant way. Fish & chips after the trip at Victoria can mam skip, USeL service and the tavern St Geoges, had seen better days. The toilets were under all criticism.

It was a sublime experience. However, I will admit that the bus wasn’t confortable as it was very small and every passenger hit her face with the ceiling at least once. Likewise, I find very rude from the company to force the driver do a 2 man job -driving and giving instructions, audio guides, tips, tickets, maps, etc...- the company should hire someone else. Nonetheless, the trip was great, we had time for pictures, listening the audio guide, visiting the exhibition and buying souvenirs at the shop.

I visited London for my birthday and visiting Stonehenge was #1 on my list. Overall, it was an excellent experience. I goofed up my reservation and I was able to use WhatsApp to contact customer service to fix it timely. From the moment I arrived to the gate @ the Victoria Coach Station to the end of the trip was extremely positive. The coach driver, Conroy, was very helpful, he pointed out a few famed sites along the way and stopped for a comfort break on the return back to London. He was safe driver, thorough and concise. The entry process was seamless and I appreciated the availability of the audio speakers sharing insightful tidbits about the pre-historic site.
