What to Expect
Local guides from all over London have a wide range of interests and experiences that can cater for any kind of private group (including child-friendly). Ranging from recent graduates to the retired, from designers to musicians to professionals. What these local guides have in common is that they are all friendly, extremely knowledgeable and love to share their city.

Here is an example of what a Central London itinerary might look like:

Full Day:

10:00: Meet your local host at your accommodation or wherever is convenient for you
11:00: Explore Borough Market’s huge selection of gastronomic delights. There are superb food and drinks, especially the coffee
12.30: Take a short walk to the Southbank, the finest riverside walk in central London and pass by or visit Shakespeare’s Globe Theater and the Tate Gallery, head across the wonderfully photogenic Millenium Bridge and take some photos of St. Paul’s Cathedral
14:00: Walk up to Fleet Street, historically home to the English press but now more of a home to the legal profession. Arrange to view a case in the Royal Courts of Justice argued by barristers (lawyers) who still wear their famous white wigs. If this doesn’t appeal to you, see the Silver Vaults, finely crafted objets d’art in an underground vault
15:00: Pause for a picnic in the oasis calm of Lincoln’s Inn Fields or if the weather is not good enough, try the Field’s Bar & Kitchen for a relaxing and delicious casual lunch
16:00: Move on to Covent Garden and the quirky streets and squares around it. It is fantastic for shopping, people watching and street entertainment
17:00: Have a quick coffee with you local host and let them jot down some recommendations for places to go to next and for the best restaurants you can find on your budget
17.30: Say goodbye to your local host in the most convenient spot for you.

Half Day:

10:00: Meet your local host at your accommodation or wherever is convenient for you
10:30: Head to Chinatown and into Soho, an intoxicating mix of quirky shops, cafes and some of the best nightlife in town. Diversity in spades, you can never tire of this area. There are also a large number of galleries as well as world-class shopping nearby.
12:00: Stop for quick lunch or snack at one of Soho's best cafés and whilst you are there with your host, ask them to jot down some recommendations of their favorite places in London (restaurants, places to see, events this week, theatre shows...whatever you like)
12.30: Head to Covent Garden and the quirky streets and squares around it. It is fantastic for shopping, people watching and street entertainment.
13.30 Head to Trafalgar square and wander around the National Portrait Gallery.
