Boarding was quick and easy. The boat was spacious, flooded with light. Great views from the tables. The amenities were clean. Service was quick, friendly and polite. Afternoon tea served shortly after departure: sandwiches, little cakes, sultana scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream. Tea/coffee constantly topped up. The drinks waiter balanced a glass of whisky on his elbow and poured the lemonade into it and popped the champagne cork behind his back! However, what really impressed me: the reason for our trip was to celebrate a friend's birthday but I had not mentioned anything about it when booking the tour. However, the staff presented her with a slice of chocolate cake and sang Happy Birthday. I can only think that they noticed the Happy Birthday sash she was wearing and decided to do something special for her. This was done out of the kindness of their hearts which is so sweet, a real personal touch that you just don't see these days. I highly recommend this tour.

Our tour guide, David, was wonderful. Very accommodating when my mother needed a restroom, flexible and had insightful knowledge about the palaces. We enjoyed chatting and getting to know him a bit more over a lovely tea. The tea, sandwiches, scones and desserts were delicious, and they even provided to go boxes so we could take the rest with us. Thank you for a wonderful morning!

Friendly service, offered food and drinks good and tasty. With the great atmosphere on the bus, the sights were almost irrelevant. Nice experience!
