Full description
Drive the Great Orme, a one-way scenic road and the longest of its kind in the UK. It hosts spectacular cliffs, wildlife and views out to the Irish Sea and Anglesey. Head to Conwy Castle for an ancient castle tour and then visit Plas Mawr, or the Great Hall, which is simply one of the finest surviving Elizabethan town houses anywhere in Great Britain.     See the Smallest House in Great Britain and the national treasure on Conwy’s quayside. Visit Bodnant Gardens, the winner of the National Trust Botanical Garden Award. Stop at Tu-Hwnt-I’r Bont and admire the picturesque setting for this 15th-century building.     Discover Betws Y Coed, a bustling mountain village, known as the “Gateway to Snowdonia.” See the spectacular Swallow Falls and then make a brief stop at the “Ugly House,” ironically known for its distinct beauty, as well as its interesting history. Make your way to Adventure Parc Snowdonia and stop at the world’s first inland surf lagoon. Watch the skilled surfers riding the waves of the fresh cold mountain water that runs down from the mountains above. Then, make your way back to Llandudno.
