  • From Liverpool: North Wales Adventure Sightseeing Day Trip

    1. From Liverpool: North Wales Adventure Sightseeing Day Trip

Leave the music city of Liverpooland travel to Wales on a 90-minute, fully-narrated journey arriving at Llandudno. Visit the 12th century hidden chapel of St. Tudno on the Great Orme. Next is the walled town of Conwy, constructed in 1283 with a fabulous 3/4-mile wall circuit. Go inside Conwy Castle (not included), a gritty, dark-stoned fortress built by James of St. George in partnership with Frenchman Richard The Engineer. Afterwards, head to Snowdonia National Park using carefully-selected, off-the-beaten-track routes with a stop at the so-called “capital of North Wales,” Betws-Y-Coed prayer house in the woods. Finally, take the unique opportunity to experience the Pontcysyllte Canal Aqueduct, built by Sir Thomas Telford between 1795 and 1805. Prepare to be entertained and informed by your experienced guide and driver along the way.

I did the North Wales tour last 22/09/2021. Our tour guide/driver Shelly was fantastic, witty and quite knowledgeable about the places we've been - She gave us enough time to enjoy all our stops and even suggested where to eat or find lovely souvenirs. Itineraries are all lovely and absolutely enjoyed every minute! Thanks again Shelly for the wonderful tour!

I had a great time on my day trip to North Wales in September 2021. Our guide was great, and I loved all the stops! It was so beautiful and we got to see a lot in just one day. I felt like I had a good amount of time at each spot we visited, but now I'd love to come back and see more of Wales! The trip felt like really good value for the money. The minibus was comfortable and there were a number of single seats so as a solo traveler I was happy that I didn't have to sit next to anyone :) I booked as part of a visit to Liverpool and would absolutely recommend the day trip for anyone wanting to see a bit of nature and some towns in Wales without too much time or their own car.

An unforgettable journey visiting the North Wales. The itinerary is well organised. The beautiful scenic spots of nature, historical site are impressive. Most of all we have Adrian be our guide / driver. The wonderful song “Ferry cross the Mersey” was played when we were crossing the Mersey River Tunnel that kicked off the day’s journey. What a wonderful arrangement! Adrian is knowledgeable, humorous and finds various ways to interact with group members, and he cares about the needs of group members. Will recommend this trip to my friends.

Our tour guide was Shelly and she was just amazing, she was very knowledgable and funny. This was the first time using busybus and I will definitely be using it again and hopefully with Shelly. She made the tour that much better, you could really tell she loves what she does. Thank you Shelly!

A great day out, excellent, personable, entertaining guide, saw loads. An ideal way to see a lot of things in a short while as no time wasted deciding where to go or trying to find parking. Recommended

A fantastic day out in Wales and a friendly and knowledgeable driver/guide.
