Visit Strawberry Field, a former Salvation Army children’s home in the suburbs of Liverpool, made famous by the 1967 Beatles’ song ‘Strawberry Fields Forever’. Through archival footage, photographs, timelines, and a specialist media guide, experience the world where John Lennon played as a child and what happened behind the famous red gates. Immerse yourself in the life and times of Lennon through interactive exhibitions, and then enjoy a walk through the garden and woods, which some visitors claim to be a spiritually lifting experience. At Strawberry Field, you can also learn about the links with the Salvation Army and the work carried out here today as part of the ‘Steps to Work’ program. Gain entry to the Royal Liver Building with this entry ticket and guided tour. Visit the West Clock Tower of the building, witness an Audio Visual experience and behold panoramic views of the city of Liverpool from various outdoor viewing platforms. Start your tour in the visitor's centre in the West Basement. See unique images and pieces from the building's construction as well as information about the creation of Liverpool's most famous residents. Meet your guide in the presentation area and watch a brief safety video before learning about the original owners of the building, the Royal Liver Friendly Society as well as history of the building's creation. Hop in a lift to the first viewing platform and head out onto the 10th floor roof to behold views of the River Mersey towards the Welsh Mountains. Take photos from the highest external point granting you clear views of the Great George Liver Clocks. Head up 89 stairs to the 14th floor to partake in a 270 degree Audio Visual experience. Set behind the clockfaces of the West Tower the projection show utilizes a mixture of lights, sound, and 4D elements like wind machines that will give you a look back through time. Enjoy the AV display that lasts for 9 minutes and tells the story of the city's history over the last 100 years since the creation of the Liver Birds and Liver Building. Using digital mapping the architecture of the room is used as part of the storytelling to give you an experience unlike any other in Liverpool. Move on to the final destination as you ascend 35 stairs to the top of the Royal Liver Building and out onto the 15th floor. Admire the Liver Bird sculptures that sit atop of the building and enjoy breathtaking 360 degree views of the city.

The current temporary exhibition, Girl Power! Spice Girls at 30* is on until Sunday 16 March 2025. The exhibition charts the history of the most important girl band in British history. In March 1994 an ad was placed in The Stage asking "Are you street smart, extrovert, ambitious, and able to sing and dance?". The Spice Girls debut single Wannabe topped the charts in 31 countries in 1996, they sold 80 million records and had nine UK Number One singles. The exhibition celebrates the story of how Sporty, Baby, Scary, Ginger, and Posh became one of the most successful girl groups ever and enjoyed phenomenal global success. The exhibition is included with all general entry tickets purchased.    *Girl Power - Spice Girls at 30 is a collectors event and not an official Spice Girls exhibition. 

Enjoy a cruise through the Albert Docks with a family-run sightseeing cruise agency. Purchase a hot or cold drink from the onboard bar and take in the waterfront vibe from the Tate Gallery to the Liverpool Marina and Yacht Club. Dive further into the sights with the onboard commentary.  Hop aboard and settle into a comfortable river boat with covered seating that ensures that passengers are comfortable no matter the weather. Enjoy comfy seats and tables with drinks available to purchase. Have an onboard toilet available for your use.  Relax as you soak up views of the Albert docks which were built in the 1860’s as a revolutionary new complex of docks. Today they are a popular, vibrant destination for locals and tourists. Pass by bars, restaurants, museums, and shops. Starting outside the Tate Gallery, travel through all the docks up to Liverpool Marina and Yacht Club while uncovering information about the sights with the onboard commentary. Turning in the middle of the Marina, return to the Royal Albert Dock with music.
