This tour was a great way to see what we wanted to see for our first trip to Kuala Lumpur. We wanted to spend a half day seeing religious sites. The tour was very flexible and accommodating, since we only wanted to go the Caves, the National Mosque, lunch and Central Market. We were traveling with 3 teenagers and 2 grade school kids with 2 families and this was more than enough for the kids. Make sure though you cross reference Hindu and Muslim religious holidays and festivals with your trip. We lucked out and nothing was going on. But the guide told us for one Hindu festival week, the Caves are jammed with worshipers. The tour guide was also very helpful. He did not come with us in the Caves or the Mosque. The Mosque has their own tour guides and the Caves really didn't need one. But I recommend you do research on the caves. Lunch was in a very local Indian restaurant. The food was great but if you or your kids are not very adventurous you might want to pack snacks
Picked up by our wonderful guide (Siddoz) in Port Klang who got us to the Batu Caves in no time. On the way he gave all kinds of information about the country and the excuses we would do that day. At the Batu Caves he also pointed out to us to be alert for pickpockets, which indeed turned out to be no unnecessary information (groups of Chinese, so beware) Then an idea from the guide to also visit the Twin Towers for a photo opportunity, too. nice to see and very happy that he did this. He then took us to Little India where we wandered around and then had lunch with him locally. The day flew by and we were brought back to port just before the crowds so that we could board our cruise ship on time.
alot of walking up some stairs and make sure to wear clothes covering your knees
