Meet at the lively square in Martim Moniz where the legendary tram No. 28 departs. Admire the Moorish castle of São Jorge, before heading into Praça da Figueira, home to one of Lisbon’s oldest cafés, the Confeitaria Nacional. Next, go into the very heart of the city to see the neo-classical Dona Maria II Theater on Praça do Rossio.
Continue to Praça dos Restauradores, dedicated to the restoration of Portuguese independence in 1640. Marvel at the 18th, 19th and 20th century buildings, including the remarkable Palácio Foz. Cruise down elegant Avenida da Liberdade, Lisbon’s main boulevard for luxury shops and restaurants. Bike into Parque Eduardo VII for breathtaking views of the city.
