What to Expect
The tour will start with one of the most iconic and traditional Lisbon views: you’ll take a ride up the famous Santa Justa Lift. Next, you’ll explore the Convento do Carmo ruins, a symbol of the earthquake that devastated Lisbon in 1755.
For half of the morning you'll dive deep in Lisbon's soul. Take a tour at the National Tile Museum and find more about this Portuguese tradition that is one of the Lisbon beauties. Next, you’ll discover Fado, that music that was born in Alfama district and is now world heritage. Visit the Fado museum and take a walk through the traditional streets of Alfama.
A complimentary lunch will be found at Ribeira Market. This is the oldest Lisbon market, and was fully recovered in the last years. Today it is one of the best gourmet spots in Lisbon. You'll have the opportunity to taste Portuguese specialties and flavors. In the afternoon it’s time to breath in some nature at the botanic garden, famous for it’s suspended garden. You'll end your tour in one of the most historic palaces. Visit Ajuda National Palace, once the house of the kings of Lisbon.
