What People Are Saying About Lisbon

Interesting and details overview of Portugal

We had a very interesting day with Paulo who is a wealth of information. Nothing was too much and he was happy to discuss any and all subjects relating to Portugal past and present. We packed a lot into the day but did not feel rushed. We visited places off the beaten track that we would otherwise not know about which added to the experience. Paulo gave us tips about reaching other places we planned to visit and followed up with information by email after our tour. This was such a rewarding tour I would certainly recommend it to anyone visiting Lisbon.

How Lisbon came into being the City it is now.

Jaoan was a great guide / very knowledgeable, who told everything of the early days/ the start of Lisbon. We saw St Jorge and Alfsma. after lunch in a marker hall he showde us Belem/Jeronimi monastry. Jaoans easy way of communication was what made the tour interesting. Thanks !

a wonderful, informative, enjoyable morning

This is not my first Get Your Guide activity, and so far they have never let me down. We were met by Margarita our guide for the morning promptly and once we had all assembled and briefly introduced ourselves, which broke the ice we got started. She looked after us with a real warmth, answered questions and talked and walked us through Rossio, Chiado and Alfama. We were not rushed at all - it was like taking a friendly ramble through a beautiful city. I would not hesitate to recommend our activity and Get Your Guide

Excellent and knowledgeable guide. Loved it.

Our guide was very easy to follow and quite knowledgeable. Enjoyed all of the tour immensely.

Lisbon Essential Tour: History, Stories & Lifestyle Reviewed by Marilyn, 09/06/2016

The walking tour was amazing, our guide was called Helder.

The tour was packed with information, we walked and even had a trip on one of the trams. It included a visit to a restaurant for Tapas and also a visit to a cake shop for a Portuguese tart which was yummy. A perfect introduction to Lisbon, we were advised to visit various places which we did later in the week. Full marks!
