What People Are Saying About Lisbon
Ms. Reneta covered all places and timed the two hour visit to nicety. Recommend highly for visitors
I visited recently the Lisbon Oceanarium and I have to say that it is very interesting place. There are a lot different species of world oceans as fish, sharks and so. There one can learn a lot of things and it is a useful time that is spent there. So, it is a nice place to visit.
Segway is an eady to ride on vehicle that will let you cover a lot of ground in no time. In the meantime you can have a look around. Our guide Bruno was easy to talk you, was knowledgeable without bothering with too many details. We had a great time!
We left Lisboa to Sesimbra with a minivan, arrived in that small city, strolled a little in the city and then left from the beach with the kayaks on the ocean. We were 11 and we had 2 guides with us, both called Andre. Very nice people! It is not so hard, we paddled in our own pace, always having one Andre in front of the group and the other at the back. We had little breaks in order to regroup and to admire the clifs and the clear blue sea (where you can sea the fish). We stopped on a beach, took a swim, had a picnic and the two guides offered us a dessert and a glass of wine. Then we left we the kayaks further, entered a small cave, paddled a little more and than slowly paddled back to the bech from Sesimbra, where we left. Afterthat we went by car to the Sesimbra castle, where we vistited the castle and then back to Lisbon. The trip was fantasti and I would do it again!
Since we are not the type of look into a guidebook, we booked this tour. We were picked up by Mariana at the agreed location. Even though our kids weren't speaking English, Mariana gave us all the time we needed for translating the given information into German. The tour itself was very interesting and we learned a lot about the history of Lisbon and why the Lisbon of today looks like this. The tour was mixed with information and challenges for the whole family. The information given were very lively presented including printed pictures or illustrations which supported the story. We recommend this tour for all families visiting Lisbon.
