What to Expect
The morning of your full-day tour begins with impressive views over the Tagus River as you cross the 17 kilometer-long Vasco da Gama Bridge, the longest bridge in Europe.
Your first stop on this program that’s designed and priced for up to 2 persons is to visit a family run wine cellar currently producing 250 thousand bottles a year! Learn about winemaking and taste fine wines.
Before moving on to the second round of wine tasting, you’ll make a lunchtime stop in scenic Sesimbra, a small fishing village that’s located in the heart of the Arrábida Natural Park.
Visit the José Maria da Fonseca cellar, founded in 1834, and the winner of countless gold medals over the last century. The cellar exports its wines to numerous countries, boasting an internationally famous collection. Learn about the cellar’s history and taste some of their wines.
On the way back to Lisbon, you’ll have enough time for a stop at the Christ statue to admire panoramic views over the city of Lisbon.
