Discover the stunning landscapes of Arrábida Natural Park on an 8-hour tour from Lisbon. Take photos of the Atlantic Ocean, Sado River, and Troia Peninsula as you head to Arrábida Monastery. Enjoy some time to swim from a white sand beach.
What to Expect
Explore one of the most stunning landscapes within easy access from Lisbon on a full-day sightseeing tour to the Arrábida Natural Park. At its highest point (500 meters), the views of the Sado River, Atlantic Ocean, Troia Peninsula, and city of Setúbal are picture perfect.
Visit Arrábida Monastery and discover a site of major pilgrimage, where the first 4 resident monks - Martinho de Santa Maria, Diogo de Lisboa, Francisco Pedraita, and St. Peter of Alcántara - lived for 2 years in cells cut into the rocks.
Descend to the crystal blue waters of a white sand beach, where you will have some time to swim in the inviting Mediterranean waters. For those into scuba diving, this is also an excellent opportunity to see what lies under the water.
Along the way, sample some of Portugal’s delicious cuisine, such as raditional Torta de Azeitão and wines from the Palmela wine region. Ascend to a Moors castle for another great view of Arrábida. If the weather is clear, you can even see as far as Lisbon.
